Scientific Papers
Since 1990, the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust, and its predecessor the Mull Cetacean Project, has been conducting research into whales, dolphins and porpoises found in Hebridean waters. A range of issues have been tackled including the biology, ecology and behaviour of cetaceans, ecotourism, conservation issues, and public perceptions. A number of reports, papers and conference abstracts have been produced. Some have links to downloadable PDF versions. Please browse the list below to find out more about the research and work that HWDT has undertaken.
